Since its inception, Bespoke Ophthalmics has maintained a commitment to donate a sizeable portion of profits to our independent 501(c)(3) charitable branch; Bespoke Philanthropy. As practicing ophthalmologists we go on mission trips every year to learn from super star surgeons abroad and to help bring eye surgery services to some of the poorest areas in the world. We donate equipment for their trips and regularly support Mom & Pop suppliers the world over. We buy generators for blacksmiths in Pakistan who lose revenue when the power goes out & Hurco multi-axis CNC machines for makers in India so they can keep pace with the latest manufacturing techniques for micro-incision surgical instruments.We license Adobe Software, AutoCAD, and SOLIDWorks for engineering students & fund apprenticeships for those learning the instrument manufacture & titanium metallurgy trades. At home Bespoke works with Ophthalmology residencies in the USA to fund trips for residents seeking to learn from some of the highest volume surgeons in the world and we develop advanced portable imaging solutions in house to facilitate low-cost screening of patients domestically and abroad.We hope in time you will also be moved to join us, not as customers but as humans looking to make our infinitesimal contribution, to the extent we can, in the time we are blessed to be here, to the furtherment of all Mankind.

our commitment

Bespoke works with US residencies to fund surgical mission trips abroad for residents seeking to learn from some of the highest volume surgeons in the world & provides surgical equipment to residencies in developing countries that are lacking even the most basic equipment.
Bespoke uses advanced portable imaging developed in house to do low-cost screening of patients domestically and abroad.
A portion of Bespoke’s budget goes toward sponsoring clinical trials in developing nations that support a mission of finding low-cost solutions to ophthalmic problems in those countries.
Bespoke maintains a long-term ambition of establishing full-service charity hospital facilities in the countries it donates services. Its model is to provide year-round ophthalmic care as a tertiary referral center that works with local doctors; seeing only patients sent to it by them.
